To ensure that owners and their pets have a great time while visiting Canine Corners, there are a few rules that all users must abide by.

• Tags are required to use Canine Corners (annual or semi-annual user fee).
• Children under age 10 are not permitted in Canine Corners.
• Your dog must be under your control and in your sight at all times.
• You are held responsible for your dog’s behavior.
• The Rockford Park District has the right to refuse or revoke tags of dogs displaying aggression or intimidating behavior towards other dogs or people. No refunds will be given for revoked tags.
• Dog owners are responsible for picking up and disposing of all their dogs’ waste.
• No food and no smoking.
• Male dogs must be neutered.
• Female dogs in season are not permitted.
• All dogs must be leashed when entering and leaving the park.
• Dogs less than 4 months of age are prohibited.
• Spiked, pronged, and pinch collars are prohibited within the dog parks.
