Park Partner Opportunities

Corporate sponsorships are available for nine major platforms of the Park District. These partnerships provide category exclusivity year-round throughout the Park District for a minimum of a three-year commitment. Partners can select from one of the following platforms.

  1. GOLF PROGRAMS/EVENTS AND GOLF FACILITIES
    • Reach: 240,000 rounds to five courses (three 18-hole courses, one 9-hole course)
    • Reach: 25,000 participants
    • Rated as the top mid-sized city for golf and 12th overall by Golf Digest (1998)
    • Selected as one of four U.S. cities to host a two-day clinic by Tiger Woods Foundation in 2001
    • Golf programs and events include Men's Classic, Mixed Doubles Classic, Senior Men's Classic, and Area Junior Tournament Series
  2. PLAYGROUND FACILITIES/PROGRAMS
    • Reach: 1,920,000 user visits to 73 playgrounds
    • Neighborhood parks located within easy walking distance of almost every Rockford residence
    • Playgrounds and "tot lots" include the latest and most innovative equipment available
    • Accessible playground also available for children with disabilities
    • Parks are beautifully maintained
  3. ICE SPORTS PROGRAMS/EVENTS
    • Reach: 300,000 user visits to two indoor facilities
    • Promotional and signage rights included at two facilities - Carlson Ice Arena and Riverview Ice House
    • Programs include public skating, hockey league play, instructional programs and special events
  4. PICNIC AREAS AND SHELTERS
    • Reach: 177, 707 user visits to 62 picnic shelters (19 reservable areas and 43 non-reservable shelters)
  5. MAGIC WATERS "BREAKER BEACH" WAVE POOL
    • Reach: 275,000 visitors
    • Illinois' largest wave pool, containing 707,000 gallons of heated water
  6. MAGIC WATERS SPLASHBLASTER
    • Reach: 250,000 visitors
    • First water coaster of its kind in the Midwest
  7. MAGIC WATERS SPLASHMAGIC ISLAND
    • Reach: 250,000 visitors
    • 50-foot interactive water entertainment complex topped off by a 1,000-gallon water bucket
  8. MAGIC WATERS SPLASHMAGIC RIVER
    • Reach: 250,000 visitors
    • Experience rapids, canyons, waterfalls and fog in this relaxing inner tube river ride
  9. MAGIC WATERS ABYSS
    • Reach: 250,000 visitors
    • Two enclosed dark tube rides that will send you twisting and turning through total darkness.
