At Sportscore Two, we take the Rockford Park District's environmentally friendly perspective a step further with our birthday party packages. Our goal is to teach children that you can have fun and be environmentally friendly at the same time. The adage "reduce, reuse, and recycle" is key to our program. Here are some of the ways we do it:

• We reduce waste in many ways be reusing most items. Any other leftover waste is recycled.
• We thoughtfully plan our parties to have the only waste product be recycled paper napkins, which generally ends up filling less than half a lunch bag.
• We eliminate the waste on disposable decor and tableware by asking that you do not bring these items to your party. Many decorations and tablewares are for one time use only and can contain harmful inks and dyes.
• We decorate your party with our reusable decorations, most of which are made from recycled or renewable resources. Even our balloons are biodegradable!
• Once your party has ended, we carefully sort and separate all waste. These items are either recycled, composted, or thrown away if necessary.
• We ask that you inform others that most gift wrap is NOT recyclable, and to please find a more environmentally friendly way to wrap gifts.
