Under the general direction of the Controller, the Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing, editing, and reconciling the payroll operations. This includes preparing weekly payrolls, payroll remittances, taxes, IMRF submissions, quarterly and year end payroll and tax reports. This position is the lead payroll specialist, subject matter payroll expert, and offers quality service using knowledge of the job to process payroll, and offers superior assistance to employees.
