Summer Fun Dayz and Summer Fun Dayz...Too
Summer Fun Dayz
A fun, safe, 5-hour day camp at Lewis Lemon Community Recreation Center under the supervision of experienced and well-trained staff. Youth play in age appropriate groups a variety of activities that promote life long leisure skills. Activities include golf, flag football, track and field, cooperative play, group games, arts and crafts, weekly walking and bussed field trips, and visits to the Lewis Lemon Branch of the Rockford Library. Lunch and an afternoon snack provided (participants may opt to bring a sack lunch).
Summer Fun Dayz...Too
Planned activities for this fun-filled summer program at Washington Park Community Recreation Center include learning camping skills, swimming, soccer, golf, track and field, tennis and other sports, games, arts and crafts, computer use, and summer reading program (books provided by the Rockford Public Library). Once registered, participants will attend a half-day program and will be required to participate in all of the activities under the supervision of experienced and well-trained staff. Participation in weekly field trips is based on minimum required attendance. We'll also play games against teams from the Lewis Lemon Summer Fun Dayz site. Lunch provided, plus an afternoon snack (participants may opt to bring a sack lunch).
