The Rockford Park District Board of Commissioners has an on-going communication program during 2008 to inform citizens of the District's four priority results, what has been accomplished in the past twelve months, and what future challenges are identified.

Priority Result #1 article published in June covers results and challenges for Land Use Today and Tomorrow, by Jack L. Armstrong and Laura Pigatti-Williamson.

Priority Result #2 article published in April talks about how residents are involved in diverse and well supported recreational activities for their health, well being and entertainment by Douglas J. Brooks.

Priority Result #3 article is scheduled for December and will demonstrate how residents value recreation as essential to living a healthy life.

Priority Result #4 article is scheduled for August and will explore having exceptional parks and facilities at a reasonable cost.
